Maple Whisky Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients


2 tablespoons butter


Dough


1 cup flour

1 tablespoons white sugar

1 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoons salt

2 tablespoons softened butter

1/4 cup milk

1 egg

1oz maple whisky from Kinsip House of Fine Spirits


Filling


1/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon


Frosting


1oz maple whisky from Kinsip House of Fine Spirits

1/2 cup softened butter

2 cups powdered sugar



Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and pour in the bottom of an 8 inch pan.

3. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt in a bowl. Then add in the butter and work it into the dry mix with your hands.

4. Beat milk and egg in separate bowl, then add to the dy bowl. Mix well until dough is formed.

5. Roll the dough out onto a floured surface and make it about 1/4 inch thick.

6. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and brush it onto the dough.

7. In a bowl mix everything for the filling, then spread half of it over the buttered dough.

8. Roll dough into a long log, and slice into pieces.

9. Spread the remaining sugar mixture into the bottom of your buttered pan, and place each roll face up.

10. Bake for 20-23 minuntes

11. Meanwhile, make the frosting.

12. Beat all of the ingredients for the frosting, then spread over hot buns!
